Unfortunately if they can't help you i would recommend switching to fiber optics if available That will fix your issue. That will mean changing supplier also.

You can always reveive texte has long as you have signal and its free. Bit i would use wifi and messenger for your texting

I would not do what the manusl recommsnds not to do. It will most likely over heat and fail prematurely.
