Switching Internet Provider. Downtime?

Hi! I work from home. I was thinking of switching from Teksavvy to Fizz.

I am trying to wrap my head around the process to minimize internet Down Time...

1- Do I cancel with Teksavvy ONLY once Fizz is up and running (After technician left)? I don't mind losing a bit of money... I just don't want my work to be impacted...

2- Can you schedule activation and Technician on weekends?

@Jacob106 le meilleur solution ses de la faire installer vendredi soirs ou samedi matin pour avoir du temps si a un problème pour le régler avant lundi

@Jacob106 oui tu annule teksavvy quand fizz est opérationnel et oui quand tu va passé la commande tu peux choisir une date dans les date proposées de fizz

Try it for a couple days before cancelling TeSavvy… Technician came to my house on Sat., brand new activation. Service has been down at least 6 times in 4 days, twice today between 5:30am and 8:40am. Usually 2-3 minutes but It’s been out for 40 minutes at the moment, working from home. Not working actually.

Could be just bad timing, could be a recurrent situation. I won’t cancel with my former provider for a couple more days.

@zganarel sa depend si tesavvy passe sur le cable et fizz aussi ton service teSavvy va plus fonctionner de toute façon .... si teSavvy passe ligne téléphonique et fizz la cable la ok

Oui, Mon service actuel est avec TekSavvy qui passe sur le cable.
