Why do I have to wait for an installer, if I already have my modem, I cannot wait 6 days.
As the title describes I am moving, but they are saying that to move my service they need to wait 6 days. I already have the modem, literally all it would take is to activate my internet and for me to install the modem I already have. I have day to day things that I require the internet for. What can I do? It seems like waiting a week unnecessarily.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this post.

Hi DudeGuy,
Everyone must follow the moving instructions from Fizz, when you change your address: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-moving-how-do-i-change-my-address-my-home-internet-service
Book your moving date for the earliest available date. Check back on the site often to see if there is any cancellation and an earlier date available.
In any case, on your moving day, you will need to unplug the modem and bring it with you.
Note that if your new home (previous tenant) already had cable internet, you will likely be able to use your Fizz modem right away.
Plug in your modem and check it out: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-install-my-wi-fi-modem
If you have any issues, you can contact customer support by chat at any time.
- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.

- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.
