@BEBE Workarounds are great, thanks for the tip. I’ll look at textnow for a future trip. My issue is that I have a Canada and USA coverage plan that used to work perfectly and seamlessly and it should still do the same, but Fizz ignored the change in the USA and did f**k all to get things up to date.

@ah727 Thankfully it went directly to LTE data and stayed that way the rest of the day. I know 2G is horrible, travelled through the Midwestern states in June and often only had 2G available, it was dead slow and I had to toggle airplane mode constantly as I was travelling from place to place.

I’m in Plattsburgh NY today Aug 3rd on a Canada USA coverage plan. Have new VoLTE SIM card installed, shows I’m on AT&T network. Data works, calling out DOESN’T work, nor do incoming calls. Je suis très satisfait du service internet. Modem fonctionne parfaitement, j’ai jamais eu à le débranché contrairement à mon ancien service où j’avais à le faire à chaque semaine. Ils on même baissé le prix de mon forfait récemment.

I had ordered 2 sims and one of the was loose in the package, the glue is not that great. Yours must have slipped out before it was even shipped. Thankfully they are getting a replacement out to you. Don’t lose confidence in online shopping altogether, it was just bad luck on this one. Overall I have been very satisfied…

These is currently an issue with data reporting for some users, me included. The only way right now to track your own usage is with your phone.

Could it be that it is only applicable on the next billing period??? Like an upgrade I received and when I applied it said it would only be effective in the next billing period.

Gatineau/Ottawa works fine. Try to reboot phone and turn airplane mode on and off.

Did you check compatibility of the phone with Fizz’s network? How long since you activated the SIM card? It took a little more than 3 hours before I had service after activating.

J’ai aussi remarqué cela. Plusieurs compagnies chargé plus pour ce service, ils ne l’incluent pas dans la boîte vocale de base. Je me demande si Fizz ne feront pas pareil si/quand çà seras disponible.
