No they do not. You can frequent any torrenting sites and download the torrent files or share them with others. No restriction!

You'll be earning points and levelling up just by paying your bills. Additionally, you can also earn points by being more active in these forums and referring new members.

Help a poor student out :) YA4ZW

Very kind gesture on your part but just be aware that you might not be able to gift data if your current billing cycle ends within the next 2 days.
-
Was your number still active when you tried to port it over? It only works if the number is still active.
-
It's already available, just follow the instructions mentioned here to retrieve it.
-
The earliest appointment you can make to have your Fizz modem/router delivered to you is usually a week from the time you order.
-
Been happening to me too a few times lately. Unplugging and plugging the modem back in seems to fix it. Strangely, the phone seems to never lose wifi connection, maybe our laptop technology is just older and weaker than our phones.

If you subscribed before October 16, changing your plan will result into you losing the discounted price you have been enjoying. If you subscribed after October 16, then you have been paying the regular price so you don't have to worry about losing any discounts. You can change your plan any time BEFORE 48 hours of your…

These new lowered prices are still HIGHER than the introductory prices that you speak of. So you definitely wouldn't want this. Fizz is just throwing a bone to the new customers to give them a taste of what you've been chewing on for months.
-
I think I read on here that you can pause it for 3 months, not sure if that's for mobile only or if it applies to internet plans too.
-
As someone who got in after April but before October, I will most likely leave Fizz if they change my current stabilization price to regular price in couple of months. And yes, a once a year special "window" promotion where we can make modifications to our plans without any penalty incurring would be highly appreciated.

Another upgrade slot will be unlocked when you reach level 4 (4500 points). At that point, you'll be able to apply a second upgrade which will come into effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Aka Net neutrality.

Nothing is "included" with your data. Everything you do on data that would require the use of wifi otherwise gets counted as data usage. However, you could always download and store songs locally on your phone that you could play without wifi/data. If you have Spotify premium for instance, you could do this. Or just the…

3mb is nothing. You use more than that streaming a song from Spotify.

^I swear this whole time I thought Fizzy was a mod/official Fizz representative.
-
I believe your regular price just becomes the new price after applying the discount. As for on your receipt, it'll be shown under rebate heading. So if you applied a $2 discount upgrade, when you go to your transaction history and choose the month you'll see - $2.00 under rebate.
-
Not to cast any judgement...But I hope Fizz never actually allows that to be turned off.
-
Mike is the best telecommunication customer service representative I've ever come across and he doesn't even work as one.
-
It seems to be back up right now. Haven't really noticed any changes.
-
Also, perhaps the best reward (at least early on) is that you unlock your second upgrade slot when you reach level 3 with 4500 points.

It was down this morning when I woke up, but I unplugged it and plugged it back again to reboot it and it was fine after.

You can't use your own referral. But if it's from someone else then it doesn't matter whether that person has internet of mobile. The referral code isn't tied to one's plan.
-
Congratulations on retirement! If you have Fizz internet then as long as you keep paying, everything will be as is when you get back. For Fizz mobile, things are a bit tricky, you'll need to be using the travel add-on and even then you might not be getting all the services.
-
I have a hard time believing it's 10 pts for every $1 you pay. Or else I would have racked up more points through paying the internet bill. Unless it's different for mobile and internet.
-
That's extremely unprofessional. Did you pay the $30 to have them install your modem? Or were they supposed to just drop the device off to you? If it's the former then I would definitely ask for a refund if I were you.
-
As far as we know, Fizz doesn't throttle download speed. It might be some other issue that you're not catching that's effecting your speed.

The ones where they include their phone numbers thinking that'll help fix their problem...
