Yes, I know most people here are users. But I also know that the Team members show up as well sometimes, as you can find some posts were responded by the Team.

@Emporium Thanks for your suggestion. I think an external access point will not help. When the cuts happen, the external access point won't have internet as well. In my house, signal from the Asus router is very strong - there are 4-5 bars even at upstairs. So the issue is not signal; it is the router cut itself. Actually,…

Until now, I did not see any cut or I should say that I did not notice the cut. It seems issues from the router. Let's watch for days.

Hi again, Yes, I use Fizz as modem via bridge and use Asus router only. Anyway, it kept cutting. On Asus official website, there is a discussion about the cutting (https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1030641/). I upgraded the firmware, relocated the router, disabled smart connect etc, but all not help. Then, today, I restored…

I googled the solution. It seems very common for Asus router (at least for my model) to keep disconnecting from internet.

Thank you Emporium and Philemon24 for your input. I did all the steps following the instruction of "My Wi-Fi network is cutting out. How do I fix it?". As I mentioned, yes, the internet comes back and speed of 50mbps (2.4hz), which is fine. However, it cuts off later again (the cutting normally last around few seconds to…

One agent told me today that my plan (120) only allow to hook up max 5 devices. Is it right? I can not find the link. Is it the reason why my internet keeps cutting? I have around 20 devices because I have iPhones, iPads, iMacs, Desktops, and few Camera - for a big family. How to make it works with 5 devices limit?

You need to know what functions you are going to use. I only need to make call/SMS, and sometimes watching YouTube. Not playing games, not for photo storage. I just bought a refurbished iPhone 6. This is my second refurbished phone. It is enough for my needs. The first refurbished iPhone I tried is still very good after…

Hi David, I had the same problem like you before. The reason I knew was that my alarm sent me notification when the WiFi lost. I bought a new router ($200), instead of using Fizz Modem. Everything is okay now - no even single cut for 3 months. I think Fizz Modem is not good for WiFi.
-
I highly recommend that Fizz has this function. My friends told me that they almost missed my call because they thought it is scam (only shows the number). I know I can ask them to add my number in their contact list; but for someone, who do not have my number in the list, may skip the call.
-
@ Alexander, do not be sad. I am here to answer your question: I'd like to have an option to modify the Call Display Name. @[email protected]

Which router you guys used to replace the Fizz WiFi? I have old one (Linksys E2500), but it seems not work very well - still have one time cut this morning. Please share your experience, Fizzmates :). Thanks.
-
@George @ Fizzy, Thanks for your suggestion. I will try that, and let you know the results.
-
I agree with Mike. Probably, you can try new plan with Fizz for one month. If it is fine, then switch your current plan; and stop the trial plan. Otherwise, just stay with Bell. Or, just ask your friend who has Fizz plan to check.
-
PM your number, I can give you 1G.
-
@Mike, Why the clients pickup the phone call when I asked the store to call them. The same client should not know the number as well. This confused me, and let me think about this question.
-
I get it every time, no matter from home computer, iphone or android. I do not even know it is possible to skip it :(
-
The main reason I like Fizz is that I can gift my data. I have 5 plans with Fizz. Some of them use data very little, some of my family member use a lot. Anyway, I can manage to send the data who needs more. That's what I like. If Fido have the same function, and similar price, I will consider switch because Fizz still has…
-
Just submitted. Why I can not see the results? I think the most important for Fizz Internet is to make it stable, not to add more function.
-
As staying home with Wifi every day, I have lots of data. Give me your number, and I will send you 4G.
-
I have the same problem. Try again and again, and you will be connected.
-
I have the same problem. However, you can try to call the 1-8xx number again. I called few times, and I was connected after up to 5 times trial.
-
It is not necessary to contact Fizz. I do not mind to have it in my account. It's not a big deal. Just curious.
-
PM me your phone number, I will give you 5G. I will stay home for most of time. Wifi is enough for me. Hope I can help you, and appreciate for all your hard work during this difficult time. Take care of yourself as well.
-
Simply, you will not be surprised as Fizz is prepaid. If you have big money in your account (such as $500), and it went away after your 1h20m call, then you might be charged for it. But I do not think anybody here will keep over hundreds dollars. In another word, do not put too much in your wallet. You never know...

Such good idea. Why not?

DS759 Enjoy!!!

@Julien, I have the same plan (120/20). I just did the speed test, and the actual speed is 142/25 through wifi. I think you should reset the modem, or contact with Fizz to check your cable. I had issue before (it dropped at least 3 times a day). The technician came, and fixed the cable (especially the cable connect), now…

I have the same problem. So I think it is the common display error.
