@M T. The actual problem I’m having is that I cannot check my notifications anymore. I get weird SMSs once in a while that I ignore, like data rollouts before the actual cut date. I’m wondering if some other people are experiencing the same issue. If it’s not a problem specific to my account, there is a higher chance that…

How is this not solved yet? It’s been months since the problem was found. At least be transparent with the cause of the problem and an explanation about why it’s taking months to resolve it.

I’ve seen some people report problems when they connect to a partner network. Like @Jonathan said, when I have problems with my data, seitching the phone to air plane mode usually works, and it might be worth rebooting the phone. If nothing works, you can try manually selecting what network your phone should connect to and…
-
Thanks for sharing the info. I was wondering if that was possible.

1) Mobile App 2) Visual Voicemail 3) Automatic network detection for people using Android (No need to manually change APN settings)
-
You’ll get an email with the terms of service once your account is fully activated. You should get full access to the system after that.
-
It’s been a month since this was posted. Is there any ETA to have this resolved?

“Access to partner networks is for occasional or temporary use only. If a member uses, minutes, text messages (SMS), photo and video messages (MMS) or data (KB) primarily on partner networks for three consecutive payment cycles, Fizz reserves the right to block or limit access to partner networks.”…

I don’t believe it’ll be worth it if you’ll be using it outside of a subscription area. Fizz mentions somewhere on their webpage that if the phone is only used outside a subscription area for 3 months, they could/would cancel the account.

If you are porting your number over, data might take a little longer. Make sure you update yur apn settings on android or your carrier settings on iOS. To do it on iOS, open settings > general > about and you’ll get a pop up asking to update it.
-
It works fine in mine. Try forcing a carrier settings upgrade. Open settings, general, about phone. You should get a pop up asking to update carrier settings.
-
I don’t believe so. Once activated, I don’t believe you’ll have a place on the UI to use a referral code.
-
I got the same notification, but my data seems to be available still
-
I believe they were having problems with high traffic on thr LTE network, that’s why it was disabled temporarily until they deploy the solution.
-
I hope these are the final prices, because they are not cheap -_-
-
Inwas having problems today, but switching airplane mode on and off fixed it.
-
Like Kent T. mentioned, trying over and over repeatedly kinda works. That’s how I got mine applied.
-
What I don't get is why this is hard to fix. 2 Factor Authentication is strongly recommended by pretty much every service that supports it and it has a huge impact if user cannot receive their codes. I really hope this is at the top of their priority list =/
-
You’ll probably get an email and a notification on the website sometime tomorrow. You’ll probably be able to fix it from the website after that.

I still can't swap ugrades... via GIPHY
-
Some people have reported that they have successfully swapped one of their upgrades. It didn’t work for me last time I tried.
-
Have you checked if it’s in your walled?
-
I'm stuck wth 3G as well :(
-
BTW, if you have one number per account, you can get 25 bucks from the referral bonus program. This is a much better deal, since there are currently no advantages to have all lines under the same account.
-
I don't believe you'll have an invoice, since fizz is a pre paid service. The day before the end of the cycle you'll be charged on your credit card with the total amount of the plan that is about to be renewed for another month.
-
Thanks for sharing! Since the upgrades are only good for 2 years, I wonder if changing them would mean giving up on it sooner. I hope they add all the nitty-gritty details to the help page.
-
Me too, but it seems to be a bit unstable still
-
It doesn’t sound like they are testing, thry might bebhaving a hard time managing the traffic on the network.
-
If you are porting your number over, it might take a couple days to get it all working. You’ll get an email with the contract once it’s done.
-
This again? I hope this doesn’t end up on another outage... =/
