  • Hi @Clive, Usually the experience is rather positive except for in Ikea and the Rideau centre. But in this case the APN settings were messed up. Could have been one of my kids playing with the phone but I removed the settings and started fresh. Confirmed that it is working now as it should 😁.
  • I did switch to a different network and it did not resolve the issue. I had to completely clear out the APN settings on the phone and had them resent for a third time and luckily that did the trick. The issue was the settings on the phone it seems. Appreciate all the help from the community!

  • Hi David, I would try changing the your network manually from FIZZ to FIZZ-EXT or another FIZZ network in the list. I have noticed that when I am unable to make a call I will switch to another network and it works fine.   • Hello Emma, I have been having similar issues since the start of the quarantine. I am assuming the extra load on the network is the root of the problem. Have you tried manually switching the networks that you are connected to? I have had some good luck switching to a FIZZ EXT network.

Just wanted to confirm that others were having the same issue or if FIZZ is able to resolve the issue. My guess is it is due to the extra load on the network due to more people using their cell phones to communicate…
  • @Gianni: I find that if you can't dial out that turning off the LTE and going to 3g helps. Or try manually picking another network. Been having luck with the FIZZ EXT networks. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
