I agree old questions that lag on forever are problimatic.. but one day , that is ridiculous.. hopefully they'll make updates to allow a fixed time set. like as much as a week. some of us do have a life aside from Fizz

I can say that YES if you use a Perk you will be able to use the Mobile data for internet / apps (like Google Maps) for with ever is the shorter... 30 days or the usage of MB in the perk (Usually 500MB) I do not have a plan with data, but enjoy the perks and bonuses from being a part of this awesome community

As long as you phone works with Fizz anything paired to it will see the network too. All Fizz sees is the Phone.So yes it should work

If there are any available you might get a 613, but 343 is the new overlay for the area and is becoming just as common. Though it's still new in the next few years it will be just as common. I looked for a 613 number till I realised the 343 cover the same area and is THE NEW OVERLAY for the Ottawa region

I would Start by trying to contact Fizz Customer support, But then also Contact Videotorn (Parent company) to see if you are indeed in their area as a residence (res) and not Commercial. If it's wrong on Videotron then they have to change it first.

@ Mike your answer put me on a Google trail that lead me to an answer , But it only works for Android as Apple (Ios) only allow you to have one APN, and with fizz it's locked. So It seems the only solution is to have the Data on ... hmm I have little, and yet it disappears daily, even when at home and on stable wifi…
