I never check voicemail and its existence is stressing me out. Is there a way to deactivate it ? Thank you.

I don't have voicemail in my plan, so I can't verify this. However, typically, you would disable any call forwarding to the voicemail to effectively turn it off.

    "Dial" the following code: ##002#

Some carriers forbid users to deactivate voicemail once they subscribe to it. But I don't know whether Fizz is one of them.

My dad had to phone his provider to turn off voicemail.
He couldn't turn off the call forwarding to it.

    Good morning @Samaelren
Sorry to hear you are stressed out :-(

You can get a new plan that does not include voicemail (might even be a better plan than you have now or you can turn voice mail off on your current plan. Unfortunately, you can’t make any changes to your plan without invoking a new plan.

Here is the FAQ, note however that the steps in the FAQ are not exactly the same as what you have to follow as the titles of the steps are different.

One of the great things about Fizz is that it's highly customizable. I have two lines - one with voicemail and the other one without.

To do this, you need to change your plan.

To deactivate voicemail on Fizz, remove the voicemail option from your plan in your account settings, which takes effect at the next billing cycle. For immediate, temporary deactivation, dial ##002# and press call to disable call forwarding to voicemail.
