Hi i'm an iPhone 17 user in Vancouver area, just switched from another provider, was with Fizz 4G before but the sigal was always low with 1 bar at home.

Now I got Fizz 5G plan and suddenly got stable 3 bar, just wonder what iphone setting i should use to pump out the best speed and signal from Fizz plan.

Hi, turn on 5G and not use auto. It uses more battery but is optimized for 5G.

What's the speed of your 5G?

    Good morning @code_APS47

The number of bars and 5G service are not a reliable way to guarantee connectivity and speed.
Having only one bar does not mean slow download and conversely having full bars and 5G does not guarantee faster speed than 4G.

For instance, you could have full bars of 5G in an area downtown and sufficient speed to do whatever you want. The area then becomes flooded with customers like what happens during a large sporting event.
Suddenly your download speed drops to a crawl, yet you still have full bars.

Conversely, you are in an area far from a tower or inside a building (4G penetrates buildings better) and your download speed is just fine.

If I were you, I would leave the iPhone settings alone and let the phone switch between networks.

What is key is your download speed. You can use an app like Speedtest, just be aware how how much data it uses.
