Right? It’s like Apple looked at SIM cards and went, “Nah, let’s make this futuristic and slightly inconvenient.” Feels like we’re inching closer to a world where our phones just fuse with our hands.

I remember thinking that if you deleted an app, it was gone forever—like, straight-up erased from existence. I’d have a mini existential crisis every time I removed something, thinking I had committed app murder.

Tech keeps evolving, but childhood logic? Unbeatable. What’s the wildest tech misconception you had as a kid?

If eSIM gets actually improved further, it's way more convenient than a conventional physical SIM. The SIM card is a very old tech and making it smaller and smaller doesn't mean making technological progress! If eSIM technology will become bug-free, I'm pretty sure it will be way better

It would be a great improvement to have access to Esim quickly.

I visited three "Circle K" stores in Toronto and none of them have Fizz sim cards. And looks like they never had it! I ordered SIM card online but it didn't arrive yet!
Hey Fizz! How about to extend you "50GB for $29" offer for another week so we can activate our cards?

Not my experience. I went to two recently and they both had them.

Just got a sim for $5 at Circle K in Alberta! Had to check four stores for it though -- one was sold out and the other two said they didn't carry it at all.

Went to a Circle K last week, it was sold out. They asked me to check back later. Bought one in Montreal for 10$.

I think that's a fair price for a sim card. They are always overpriced for what they are. At least with Fizz you can reuse them.

Indeed, the regular price should be $5

So we can reuse the SIM card. That is great. Thank you.

It would be great if your website was up to date - I went to 2 Circle K stores and, of course, they had no idea what I was talking about.
Then I came here and, what do you know... Ontario is "forthcoming".

It is possible that not all repair shops participate. Write to Fizz support indicating which repair shop you visited that does not have or no longer has SIM cards. It is also possible to use an eSIM without any charges.

I think charging 3x the price for a SIM to Quebec customers is morally wrong, and would like that policy changed.

eSIM should be available to existing customers, not only new customers.

Don’t worry if you’re in Ontario now. Circle K has Fizz SIMs now. Now also there is the option for an ESIM

There is no more easy service than being able to take a physical sim card out of a phone and put it in another.
Why regular customers keep pushing for eSims is beyond me...

    I got fizz last month
    I saw promo online
And actived my line using e sim
The number was ported with 15 minutes.

Now, let's imagine if there was no option for e sim, then I had to go to the store to buy a SIM and then activate. So I saved my time, my gas.

The time you'll spend when you buy your next phone. And the next. And the next after that

My phone only allows for one eSIM so when I travel I like to use an eSIM in the host country and a physical sim for my fizz account.
