I don't have the unlimited minutes and whenever I call it is charged from my wallet. I know receiving calls are charged but what about the calls from toll free number??

With pay-as-you go, every single minute of call time is charged to your wallet, regardless of the number of the other party. This is true as well for people leaving messages on your voicemail, call-forwarding and three-way calling.

For toll-free numbers, the other party agrees upfront to pay for the long-distance fees.

With Fizz pay-as-you-go, you don't pay for the long-distance, you pay for the right to use the airwaves.

I don't see why an Incoming call from a "toll free" number would be different than any other incoming call.

That's how it has always been in North America, with any carrier. The cell phone user always pays for airtime, regardless of whether they make or receive the call. The caller always pays the same they normally would to a landline in the same area code.

Yes, you will be charged. All calls are charged, even from a toll free number.
