Roaming within Canada

The coverage area you choose determines the expanse of the calls and texts included in your plan. If you choose the Canada coverage for instance, you can make or receive calls anywhere in the country. But with a province-only plan such as Quebec-only coverage, a call made or receive from Vancouver for example would not be included in your plan, and you’d have to buy a Travel Add-on.

From a very old forum post, not sure if still accurate. For some reason, Fizz don't advertise the pay-as-you-go pricing anymore.
$0.10/MB
$0.05/Text
$0.25/MinuteYou can also buy travel add-ons "Canada". These prices are currently advertised.
$4 per 60 Minutes, $4 per 200 texts.
$10 for 500 MB, $20 for 1 GB, $30 for 2 GB.Travel data in Canada is so expensive with Fizz that I would use a 3rd party travel eSim instead. If you have a phone that supports this.

A call received from Vancouver while in your province of coverage (Québec in the above example) is of course included in the plan.
Accepting an incoming call from anywhere while visiting Vancouver is not.0 -
Good morning @makejopa
Here is the Fizz FAQ on the topic
Texts are 5 cents each, calls 25 cents per minute.
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/abcs-fizz-mobile-services
I have found Fizz rates outside of canada to be competitive.
For within Canada, the price per month is so minimal (one or two dollars per month I think?) that it may be worthwhile to change your plan, unless you have a super cheap plan you don’t want to change.
Hope this helps
Cheers,

BradThat information seems to be out of date. Calls are charged at 10 cents per minute now as seen in this screenshot taken from the "wallet" section of my account:

And I can confirm that's the real price (plus taxes) they charged me when my plan didn't include unlimited minutes.

I would change to a Canada wide plan.

Calls within your coverage area when you don't have unlimited are different though from calls made from your coverage area to the rest of Canada which again are different from calls made from outside your coverage area.
