Is there any updates on having a proper Fizz mobile app for Mobility and better VoiceMail?

I just joined Fizz after Bell 5x outages in 2 weeks left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm sure many of us new members here come from that.

But I was wondering if the app has any been discussed as an improvement point to not allienate members.
I'm a software engineer, and I'm sure many of the community members could also offer advice if needed on improvement opportunities.

Cheers,

    Good morning @charlesmalo
I don’t recall a lot of discussions about an app for mobile phones. It seems to me Fizz has an app though for their internet customers.
As for voicemail, I only use it as a screening tool, meaning if the number is not in my contacts I send it to voicemail.
All this to say that perhaps there has not been a big demand from customers.
People are expensive, especially people like software engineers, so I suspect that in order to keep costs down, Fizz has to make choices about how many people it employs.
For instance, Fizz does not offer phone support, or 24/7 chat support.
    Cheers,
    Brad

Hi, it’s not allowed to write your code here.

The question is, how much value does an app really add?

I mean, you can just bookmark https://zone.fizz.ca/dce/customer-ui-prod/account/plan in your browser, have the browser remember your password for an auto-login and then put the bookmark on your phone’s home screen as an icon just like any other app.

Done, you made yourself a "Fizz App". :)

I have not heard of plans for a Fizz app for mobile users. I visit the Fizz website, which is mobile friendly, and log into my account from the webpage. It is not as streamlined as an individual app, but it gets the job done and allows Fizz to focus on other improvements.

I don't think that there is a much demand.
