I had an e transfer sent on 29th of December and Fizz froze 45$ of the 60$ sent to my account when my money is due on the 1st of every month? Why is that?

"With Fizz, you pay for your plan each month via automatic pre-authorized payments planned 72 hours before the start of your billing cycle."

    Why is that?

Gives you time to react in case of payment failure before your service is being suspended.

Also allows for the use of payment cards that don't support recurring payments.
