    All depends on the province.

Currently for Quebec 2gb without SMS, calls and voicemail costs 12$

For Ontario with introductory prices 1gb costs 7$.

For Ontario with introductory prices 1gb costs 7$.

Careful though, Andrei did not mention that this is an introductory price and valid for 6 months only. After that, the price for the plan doubles.

Just go data only. Monthly cost varies by province, so check your location.

    Hallo
In Manitoba the minimum plan if you choose data only 1 GB during the 50 percent sale is 7.50 a month for the next six months and then it would be 15$
If you include unlimited texting it's only a dollar more 8.50
And if you include unlimited calling minutes another dollar more 9.50 total monthly for the next six during the 50 percent discount.
And if you add the 40 dollars sign up bonus if you use another Fizz members referral code (my is TQ8KU ) you will get a 40 dollars added to your account(and the other person whose referral code you use)after you make your second months payment which technically means you would get 4 months of free unlimited texting and calling with a 1 GB data. Right now that is the best deal in Canada and I would say in the World. And if you or anyone else can find a better deal please let me know.

Depends on what you want. If you don't mind switching cell phone providers every 6 months, sure, the discovery discount is a great option. However, if you look at the prices after the discount ends, for people who need just a little data, there are better options out there.

Right now that is the best deal in Canada and I would say in the World.

Hah! Well, how about unlimited talk and text with 3GB of data for €2.99/month? That's $4.30. Permanently. No bloody price goes up after X months nor complicated referral bonusses needed. Or how about €19.99 ($28.65) for unlimited talk/text/data? And I mean unlimited, no reduced speed after X gigabyte.

Sorry, but you don't want to compare Canada with "the world" when it comes to cell phone plans. North America is one of the most expensive regions for cell service.
