Deleting voicemail because of spam calls

I read in the forum that you can delete your voicemail by modifying your current plan and selecting the voicemail option but I'm afraid if I do that I won't get the same pricing as I get right now as I'm in the beta price plan when fizz went to Ontario with the discounted price, and they don't have my plan anymore

Exactly, if you modify your plan you will have to pay the current price.

To do this, you need to change your plan.

Indeed, you will pay the new price.

You may be able just to turn it off. "Dial" the following code ##002#
It should say something like Call divert erasure successful.
Then dial *#62# to see whether the call divert is actually off.

I have no voicemail in my plan, so, unforuntately, I can't try this myself to confirm.
