Get a refund for referral bonus
Today, I successfully downgraded my plan. I received an email confirming that the self-paid amount will be returned to my bank account.
What is the procedure for refunding the prepaid amount that was covered by the referral bonus? I need confirmation on whether this amount will be credited back to my Fizz account or wallet.

When the invited person completes their second monthly payment, they will receive their referral bonus.

Fizz says there is a freeze period 4.5 days before your billing cycle ends where you can't make any changes to your plan. The payment for the next billing cycle is taken 72 hours hours before the end of the current cycle.
So, how are you downgrading your plan a day after making the payment? That would be way into the freeze period.

I'd double check the refund email you mentioned as it sounds like you changed your plan after already paying for the next billing cycle, so the discounted plan should only be in effect the following month (after the one you had already paid for).
You can always contact customer support via chat to make sure.

I had something similar in the past. I was refunded to my default payment method, which is my credit card. You have to wait 2 or 3 business days to receive it. If you don't receive it, contact customer support.

Only the amount you paid by card is refunded. Referral bonuses aren’t converted to cash, they stay in your Fizz account and apply automatically to future bills.

Yes, it takes 2-3 business days to receive the refund.
