Do the sim card have a expire date? I'm curious if I buy a sim but don't use it, how long can one keep the sim card without being used, maybe for later on?

    SIM cards do not have an expiry date.

    Otherwise you can use an eSIM if your phone supports it.

    You can even use another user's expired sim card and reactivate it under your own account.

    Every once in a while, sim cards need to be updated. Like when the VoLTE sim card was introduced. But that doesn't happen very often.

    No, it will never expire. You can reuse an unsubscribed sim card also.
