Booked an apartment at playa del Carmon. Maybe I should learn some Spanish?

Hi, good idea! A little 'hola' or 'gracias' can already work wonders there! Playa del Carmen is super welcoming, but a bit of Spanish makes the experience even richer. Even just learning how to order a coffee or ask for directions changes everything.

How long are you going for?

I suggest you to book a one day tour to visit Chichen Itza. It is a well-known archaeological site (Maya), and was selected as one of the New7Wonders of the World on July 7, 2007. Mine included a stop to visit Valladolid a nice city with colonial charm and an other one to look cenotes and even swim in one of them.
