Do the points in this forum mean anything?

As title says, does the forum points also get transferred to my actual fizz account with my phone plans?

    Yes some of them give points to level your Fizz account, for example comments give 3 points. Level give perk, like free data or 1$ discount

    Extra 5 bonus points for answering within 5 minutes.
    50 points if your answer is chosen as the best answer.
    100 points for each month of activity.

    You must be ranked in the top 100 for the month

    You can get 50 points for accepter answers, but otherwise only 3 points so yeah
