Switch from Videotron to Fizz

So i have a mobile plan with Videotron, but i want to buy a new phone... and change my plan as i have too much data for my monthly usage. So i want to switch to Fizz, and also buy a new phone. However, i am not sure how to go on about this, i do not know the steps i need to take to actually do the switch. I'm trying to reach out to an agent, however i still don't have an answer and i have no idea when i'll get one. And i don't want to be unavailable when the agent will eventually reach out. So i don't know if an admin can reach out and help me, that would be very appreciated

    You go on the Fizz website and select your phone and plan. During the ordering/activation process of your plan, you select to transfer your number over from Vidéotron. Vidéotron will send you a text message on your existing phone about the number transfer that you will have to confirm.

    Fizz is special in that you also order the phone later after the plan is already active, and still get the same kind of discount. The only extra perk of buying phone and plan together, as far as I can tell, is getting the physical sim card for free (a $5-$10 value).

    Hello, do not cancel your mobile plan before the transfer takes place. Leave your current SIM card in to receive confirmation of the number change.Your plan should automatically cancel after the transfer is confirmed.
