as title suggests
the OnePlus 13 newest update (850)
breaks VOLTE which was working on 822 and 832

this is more of a PSA so people dont get stuck like i did

I have since reverted by using the rollback package intended to get you back to android 15 if you used a beta of 16
then re-upgraded to (822) which worked and had VOLTE
then (832) which also worked

but as soon as you go back to (850) VOLTE does not work
even after factory reset

(850) upgrade among a few minor changes
was suposed to address VOLTE issues with C#ttR and f1d0
as per SpencerB (a OnePlus employee) on their own forums in the canada circles
this appears to have broken what worked for fizz

clearly a carrier profile issue on the new firmware but OnePlus says its an issue at fizz
they say the profile uses the newest version of the standard available
and that fizz needs to update to be compatible

if there is any truth to this , fizz please help

in the mean time, do not upgrade past (832) or you will lose VOLTE
please comment on your experience and if somehow (850) works for you

if you havent already done so, its probably best to disable autoupdate

I have a One Plus N30 5G which did not have the Volte option. I had a system update that added it and everything worked, I did the test. A month later, new update and the volte disappeared and it no longer works. I sent a complaint to One Plus, still no response.I don't know updates numbers and how to come back to the good update . The 2 updates are with android 14

I have now spoken with someone at OnePlus 3x. they keep insisting their engineers have verified and that nothing has changed with the carrier profiles from 822and832 to version 850. They told me that fizz would need to address the issue on their network which is not allowing VoLte. @Wizz can you please comment or assist. Is it simply being rejected as its a new firmware. ..... again confirmed 2x by repeating the downgrade process 2x. versions prior to June(822) do not have Volte but 822(June) and 832(July) have Volte. however 850(August) get no Volte. any assistance would be great

Unfortunately I doubt that Fizz will do anything, because OnePlus phones are not in their "certified VoLTE" list.
