Do I need minutes on my plan when it uses VoLTE/data? :-)

    Yes, VoLTE is NOT the same as VoWifi (Wi-Fi calling).

    VoLTE (Voice over LTE) uses minutes, not data, for voice calls. While VoLTE utilizes the LTE network, it's billed as a traditional voice call, deducted from your plan's allocated minutes, rather than drawing from your data allowance. This means you won't incur extra data charges when making calls over VoLTE, even though it relies on the LTE data network.
