RCS for iPhone Users?

So Apple added RCS support in iOS 18 almost a year ago, but I and many other people with iPhones still don’t have access. I don't get what's the hold up when android users get full RCS features...

Is it a carrier-side delay, or just not being prioritized? Would love to hear if anyone has updates or if fizz plans to roll it out soon. Otherwise I love the service and plan on staying with them for a long time, thank you :)

    For the moment fizz doesn’t offert rcs for the iphone

    If you plan staying with them for a long time it makes no sense to change something...

    Fizz might offer support for RCS later but at the moment they don’t support it for iPhone. I was actually confused too at the start when I saw RCS came out in IOS18 but wasn’t on my phone. I then realized that Fizz doesn’t support it. Hopefully in the future they’ll add it. There are no details about this so far.

    The FAQ simply says it is not available :-(
    As the group is only users, we don’t have any information on whether RCS is delayed or not a priority.

    RCS is both carrier and oem. so apply and fizz needs to work together to get it working. you can check this from apple. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/109526

    I should have researched this when my son switched to an iPhone last week! Honestly, who would have thought this doesn't work - I have plans for my wife (Android) and mother-in-law (Android) with Fizz (in addition to my son - who was Android but just switched to the iPhone). They have RCS chats with their iPhone friends and family all the time - only now that my son has the iPhone, we can't have a family chat anymore!

    Please Fizz - just get this done...
