Going from 250mb upgrade to 500mb upgrade
The first thing I tried was to click the apply button, but nothing was happening, the icons were just wiggling. My next thought was maybe we need to remove the 250mb upgrade first, so I clicked this option.
Now the 250mb upgrade says pending removal, and the 500mb apply button still does nothing.
What am I doing wrong, and why is there no feedback at all from the apply button?

After the wiggling of the icons, you need to select one of the icons to apply the upgrade. Since you want to swap the 250GB with the 500GB you should click on the 250GB icon. When you do that it will ask you to confirm that you want to swap upgrades.
The steps to applying upgrades can be found here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-do-i-receive-my-rewards-program#1. Specifically,
- Select the upgrade and click on Apply.
- At that moment, you’ll see the white boxes below your plan start to move (wiggle). Those are the slots where your upgrade can be applied.
- The slots with a + sign are ready to welcome your upgrade.
If you select a slot where there’s already another upgrade, we’ll ask you to confirm the swap. If you accept, the new upgrade will be applied to your plan come your next payment cycle.
Some slots are locked and cannot welcome an upgrade yet. You’ll unlock these slots when you reach higher My Rewards levels
- Select the slot by clicking on it.
- Your upgrade will be activated on your plan at the start of your next payment cycle.

When the icons were wiggling, you should click on the one with 250MB and it swap it with 500MB.
If you clicked to remove 250MB, you have to wait for your next billing cycle to have that slot empty. You will be able to apply 500MB perk right after, but it will be applied starting with the next billing cycle.
You should use the swap option, because now you have to wait 2 billing cycles to have the new 500MB perk applied. I know that swap is not a very straightforward way and multiple users did exactly what you did. Hopefully next time you will be able to use the swap option.

I'm not sure, you can just swap them. You may have to wait until the 250MB is removed in your next billing cycle before you can add the 500MB. Also, when I did it, the removal wasn't done automatically when the billing cycle started. It was just stuck on "pending removal". I had to get help from https://fizz.ca/en/support to get it done.

I did the same thing when I got level 2 . Don't be afraid, the changing from 250 till 500 will start with your next billing cycle. Notice that I think it would be more profitable to keep 250 till the end of it,s term and then start with the 500. I will be more patient next time I will change of level. Have a nice day

So I was trying to do the right thing but it simply wasn't working correctly. When I was pressing apply, the icons were indeed wiggling, but when I pressed the first icon, it wasn't offering any option to swap anything.0
