Hey gang. I am about to head over to visit a family member and would like to move our mobile plans over to Fizz while I'm in Vancouver with them. I'd like to pre-purchase the SIM cards in Toronto and bring it with me to activate and setup while I'm there.

1) Is this possible? Can I have the two SIM cards on hand and bring it with me to Vancouver to activate? (Family member's phone is old and needs a physical sim)

2) We both have a Toronto area code phone number we want to retain. Will we be able to transfer those numbers to Fizz as long as the numbers are within the subscription zone (which I believe they are)?

Thanks!! Excited and hopeful to join Fizz soon!

It should work just fine as long as you activate both SIMs on a Toronto billing address and choose at least Canada-wide coverage area so that the plan features can be used in BC.

Why waiting until you are in Vancouver, do it in Toronto with Canada wide plan.

I was actually about to ask the same question  but then I realized that the OP probably didn't want see their Vancouver relative's SIM card from their previous carrier go dead before they get there with the new Fizz SIM. As it would if they activated the Fizz SIM and ported the number early.
