Transfer a number to a New account
I read several posts suggesting to have separate accounts in order to share data when needed.
My situation is that both my phone number and my wife's phone were under her Rogers account.
Her phone number has been already transferred to Fizz Recently. My phone number is still with Rogers but still under her account.
My question is if I transfer my number to a new account under my name. Can it be transferred as the new account name now different than it is with Rogers.
Any suggestions?

yes you can. when you transfer they use the phone number + the account number so they will still be able to find your number for the transfer

Yes, you can transfer it to a different name once you confirm by message the transfer.
