Hello, my phone (POCO X3 NFC) is apparently not compatible with LTE, yet according to its technical specifications, it supports bands B4 (1700/2100 AWS) and B7 (2600) in 4G. Thank you for helping me understand this.

Dial #8378 to check if it works on the Fizz network!

Unfortunately it's not part of the "certified phones by Fizz".

Try to update your phone but probably not compatible with Fizz.

Just try calling at #8378. Some phones are working even if there are not certified by Fizz.

Even though POCO supports the band, as far as I know it’s not a common North American phone brand. It depends on the network provider also to support lte for that phone. As far as I know Fizz LTE is band 66 in GTA.

Adding to it: the phone will have same situation with other providers in Canada. Even if you get LTE signal with other provider (maybe one or two bands) the speed will be slow and it will fall back to 3G for calls.

ok so I have to buy a phone.. great. What about the Poco X6 Pro : 4G work on B2-4-5-7-66 band but not B12-13-17. I dont know if it will work then ?

This is not question of band but compatibility With Fizz Network. No Poco on the list. Look here:

    https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices

Install last Update of your phone.

However, a test with #8378 could confirm if you have the phone in your hands by putting the SIM card of FIzz.
