Why my mobile does not ring?

My mobile does not ring. At first, I thought it was an issue with my phone, but then I asked my husband to switch to Fizz as well (he previously had Videotron). As soon as he switched, he immediately started experiencing the exact same problem. His phone doesn't ring, and calls only appear later as missed calls.

It’s not related to any phone settings, as this never happened with our previous carrier. I've already tried everything, including all suggestions from the forum (it's not related to the iPhone’s Focus mode, and call forwarding is turned off).

Unfortunately, we’re now considering leaving Fizz since missing calls has become very disruptive. Before taking such a drastic step, I'd like to ask: Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

    Hi @dani_01

This is very strange, what phone are you using ?

When you call did you see the call right away? When you call the number from the caller side did you ear the ringing?

Since you ported the number, when this happens? The Old SIM is still active?

Did you try to reboot the phone? https://fizz.ca/en/support

If you have iPhone switch on left is probably off.

Before switching providers again, you should resubscribe to network by disabling "Automatically select Network" in your phone's network settings menu and see if you can find FIZZ after scanning, then choose it manually. If that doesn't work right away try airplane mode for a minute then disable it.

are you using older iphone models? i used to have an iphone 7 that had the same issue that had very poor cell signal. when it was switched to iphone 16, the signal increased much higher and was able to ring all the time.

No problem with my Iphone 7 Plus! Always 3 or more signals.

You should check if your phone works in a different area. It could be due to low signal.
