If there's one feature you'd like Fizz to introduce, what would it be and why?
For me, it's definitely Wi-Fi calling. It’s such a highly anticipated feature, and it would be a game-changer for areas with spotty network coverage. What about you? Let’s share our ideas and see what the community thinks!

Hi
For sure Wifi calling and probably the option to have a Canada/USA/MX plan will be great since someone start to offering

Yes, WiFi calling is great and important.

Hopefully RCS for iPhone

Really important wifi calling option !

WiFi calling is good idead!

Everyone need WiFi calling, Fizz should work on it.

Got it! WiFi calling is definitely something everyone needs. Fizz should get on it and make it happen – it’d make life so much easier for all of us!

It's about time Fizz starts offering that to be competitive – it would make life way easier!

How about 5G support?

Why do you think is important? What do you expect from the 5G?

5G is important because it’ll make things faster, smoother, and more reliable—like streaming, gaming, and smart tech

Fizz will notify us when 5G is deployed

Hopefully in the near future!

Yes many members hope so !

5G is the best hope.

Absolutely! 5G is like the superhero of tech—zooming us into the future with lightning-fast speeds and zero lag! ⚡🚀

Fingers crossed! Hopefully, it’ll be here before we know it! 🤞⚡

For streaming, 4G generally provides an excellent experience. However, when it comes to gaming, low latency is critical, and 5G can make a noticeable difference. That said, if your gateway is more than 10 hops away, even with 5G, the improvements might be negligible due to network delays. It’s similar to having a router with 10G ports but only a 400 Mbps internet connection.
Regarding "smart tech," I’m not entirely sure what you mean—could you clarify?
In my opinion, the biggest advantage of implementing 5G lies with the service providers. With its higher speeds and efficient data switching, 5G allows them to support more users on the same frequency spectrum. This is especially beneficial in densely populated areas, where network congestion is a common issue.

Great points! 4G is great for streaming, but 5G really helps with gaming due to its low latency. And yeah, network delays can still limit 5G’s benefits if the gateway is far. For 'smart tech,' I meant devices like smart homes, but agree—5G is really useful for service providers in crowded areas.

5G, with its low latency, is a real asset for gaming.

Very good point.

Totally! Huge difference!

For streaming and browsing, 4G is excellent. For gaming, 5G is better because there is less latency.
It depends on the needs.

4G is like cruising down the internet highway, but 5G is the turbo boost you need for gaming—zooming past any lag!

4G Latency: Typically ranges from 30 to 50 milliseconds.
5G Latency: Aims to achieve latency as low as 1 millisecond.

The problem of all technology is on paper they can do amazing, but the implementation is another story. the LTE can reach 100mbps, LTE-A, I don't remember if it was 300 or 1000 mbps on paper

In summary, 5G offers significant improvements in speed, latency, power efficiency, and capacity compared to 4G. However, 5G coverage is still being rolled out and is not as extensive as 4G.
4G average 10 to 15 km
5g average 1 to 2 km but low latency.

Thanks for the info!

It's called marketing?

Right, 5G is like a race car—super fast and super sharp with low latency—but it can only zoom around a small track (1-2 km). Meanwhile, 4G is the reliable bus, covering a much larger area (10-15 km), but it’s not as speedy. 5G’s still getting its wheels on the road, though!
