Fizz Experience So Far

Yeah true but at the same time they won't let that happen because if somebody had like a 100GB plan and 5 days before the billing cycle changes to none by simply keeping his phone line active with the minimum cost like $12 or so, wouldn't be fair and not secure, it's a bit like when you deposit a cheque in the bank, there is a pending process and verification that can take up to 10 days same thing why they won't let you change instantly directly plans on the same month for security purposes and to be fair and square
1 -
I totally agree but I think it changed and now you can I was misstaken!
1 -
Yeah exactly, happened for the best safety processes possible
0 -
Yea there's was a post with someone asking for it and apparently you can as you want as long its not in the last 4,5 daya of your billing cycle.
1 -
Damn that's pretty much a hack hahaha only weakness is that you cannot keep the precious plan you had on Black Friday or Boxing Day and such and always have to keep up with what's currently available
1 -
That's for sure!
1 -
Yea it would be nice if you could changes littles things on you plan without affecting the price that much when it isnt in promo.
1 -
Yeah exactly but that would be almost impossible to get it every single month and with the 5 days strategy
0 -
Yeah exactly man
0 -
Yea! Right now I'm debarint if I keep or not illimited text since iphones user's got rsc now.

I’ve been with fizz for a few year now and never had a problem travelling have been way easier with the travel plan than other companies0
-
I still keep it because alot of industry and government still has the old sms system for giving out security codes, unless everyone is in a new RSC technology, until than I'll always keep text messages for a couple buck more

If you find yourself sending more than 80 texts per month, it makes sense to include unlimited texts in your plan, otherwise it's better to pay-per-use
0 -
Yes but incoming text are free with fizz so we still get security codes and all for free enven when we are abroad! You're right about RCS not everyone has it yet that's what kinda make me hold back.
1 -
Yea that's not alot. There's also an add on for 200 text for 3$ but for that price unlimited is 1$ more. It would have been a nice way to save if we have to send like 10 text max per month!
0 -
That's my case, as incoming texts are free, I don't even send 60 per month I think.

It work well with money on your fizz wallet?
0 -
Fizz is very affordable and no fixed contract!!
0 -
I have illimited for now..
0 -
Ahh I though you didnt have illimited.
0 -
Hmmm even you opt out text, you get incoming free text?
0 -
Yes they are that's why I'm kinda tempted to go without illimited text but I'm not sure yet.
1 -
Fizz is loveable!! at affordable price.

Yes. Best service and very innovative 💡
0 -
Yes from all the carryer i've been with its the best one!

With so many messaging services that go through wifi/data instead of SMS, and since you can receive texts for free, I would suggest ditching the unlimited unless you use a LOT of SMS. If you still want to use them once in a while you can get the 200 messages add-on. That's what I've been doing, it's only $3, and they last for two months. I don't text that often through SMS and I've never gone through even half of the messages in the two-month period.

fizz is the best nowhere else can you completely customize your plan to how you need/want so freely month to month
0 -
Yes that make sense, I might go for it!. I hope they will release rcs for iphone user's too.
0 -
this is a great idea!
0 -
I have removed unlimited texts and use the wallet when I need to send a text and it work flawlessly… why it shouldn't?
0 -
Incoming texts are always free!!!
0 -
All incoming texts is free but if picture, data required.
0 -
the upgrade data in your account will allow you to send mms as long as it’s enabled
0 -
Thanks for the feed back I was asking because I'm thinking of doing that too.
0 -
considering doing this as well , mostly use iMessage so might be worth it
0 -
It would be more saving for us!
0 -
If you don't use texts that much I think you are gonna save quite a lot on the long term
0 -
Yes, i'll probably do it!

looking forward to join!0

If you do dont forget to use a referral code to get 35$ off on your 2nd month!

I guess you are located in Quebec then.. Remember that the wallet option is not available outside of QC if I'm not mistaken
0 -
Yea I am in QC and yes the wallet is only avaible in QC. There's text add-on for other province but its like 3$ for 200 and you only save 2$ by removing the text fonction. In QC its 4$.

Speed: can't complain! I've been upgraded to higher speeds twice since I got here, and it rocks.
Price: it beat other provider who had been good to me before, but they've let themselves go since being bought.
Fizz isn't the cheapest, but its usually in the mix. If another player comes up and takes the crown, I might jump ship but I appreciate the quality so far!
