Can I use my referral code for a new phone and sim that I ordered for a charity I am involved with? I didn't see anything about entering a code when I was making the purchase

the referral code can be used only at the activation of the first plan in an account

This was the first plan for that account. Do you mean that I use the code once the sim card arrives and I activate it? I assume that this is a legitimate use of the referral program.

yes this is a separate account under a separate name and email. However I will be the one using the phone and passing the cost on to the organisation.

the referral.code is not used at the order of the phone or sim, but at the activation of the plan

If you ordered a sim it should have asked for a code. Even if it did not when you go to activate it it should ask for it again. Is the plan activate now on one or both accounts?
