Will I get it next month if I'm not paying for data? I saw something about people not being able to gift data to people who didn't have it as part of their plan.

When you apply an upgrade this will be present in your plan the next billing cycle, you don't need a data plan in order to be able to use it

If you don't have data in your plan you cannot receive gifted data
If you have a data plan this billing cycle the data will be available also if you remove the data till the expiration of the data
The data of your account, they have a 90 days validity, gifted data is valid until the end of the recipient’s payment cycle that follows the cycle during which the data was gifted.

If you don't have data in your plan you can not receive data as a gift from other users.

You rollover data will stay.

You cannot get the gift data if you didn't choose data in your plan. So, maybe change your plan and get the data in next month.0

Sorry, I think I confused everyone by mentioning the gifted data for comparison. I'm just asking if the first 250mb upgrade that Fizz gives you for signing up will actually activate next month (since I don't have a plan with data currently).1
