I have over 6GB that will rollover next cycle so I changed my plan to 0GB (to save $6). Is this permitted?

and can we also use the 20GB perks we received if we have a 0GB plan?

For sure you can do that. Take in mind a few things tho:

    1. You may loose any promotional price you were getting with your current plan.
    2. Data roll over for only 2 billing cycles. After that they expire.
    3. You are not able to either gift or receive data once you go to a no-data plan

Yes it is permitted but you might not be able to go back to the plan you had at the same price. Yes you can use the 20gb when you want. For the rollover you might have a little bit less then 6gb when your cycle end depending on your usage this month.

    Hi @amnesiac

This FAQ explains your options in detail

As @Oli 64JKA mentioned, you old plan (data, coverage, price) may not be available when you want to switch back. You are not guaranteed to return to your old plan.

    “Snip”

Important: To ensure that a change to your plan comes into effect at the beginning of your next payment cycle, please submit that change with at least six (6) days left in your current payment cycle.

Good to know: You can only change your plan with one of our plans offered at that time, and your old plan may no longer be available or may no longer be offered at the same terms afterwards.

Some discounts or promotions may no longer apply after you switch (for example, certain services or options that were included in your old plan may be charged under your new plan or may no longer be available).

In the case of data roll over for a mobile plan, the data will take on the attributes of your new plan.

Example: If you had a monthly Canada plan and replace it with a Canada + United States plan, your unused data of the previous month (Canada) will be valid under your new plan (Canada + United States). Conversely, if you had a Canada + United States plan and switch to a Canada plan, your unused data will be valid in Canada only once the new payment cycle starts.

A new services agreement with the changes applied will be put in your Fizz account. A copy will also be sent to you by email using the address associated with your account.
