Travelling to USA next week, plan ends in 2 days, but can't upgrade to USA coverage?
I'm travelling to California next week for work, and I'd 'like to change my plan so that it covers both Canada and USA. My billing cycle ends in 2 days, so it would make sense that I change my plan in advance of my next billing cycle, as I'm noted I should do in the plan information page.
However, it says I can't change my plan until after Sept. 17, because…why? Obviously after the 17th, my current plan will have renewed for another billing cycle, and consequently I won't be able to make use of the changed data plan to include USA coverage during that billing cycle. It will take effect only the following one, when I'll be back in Canada.
Am I missing something here, or is this just ridiculous?

This is how Fizz works, you need to change at least 4.5 days before the next billing cycle, Fizz is a prepaid service and this is the policy, I believe it is for avoid error with billing

You will need to get an add-on if you want coverage.

CANADA+USA is the best option from the beginning. bringing so much value to a mobile plan.

Yeah well said, even having a few trips to the States or Canada, you would save already by buying add-ons. Depends on the frequency of being outside.
