signing up timing
hello! i was wondering if anyone could suggest the best timing to use when signing up to fizz internet and cancelling the current provider (in this case videotron) please?

He is talking about the Internet line.
I would suggest to switch several days before your next billing cycle with the current provider. In case of any issue you can cancel your "switch".

ohhh no fizz will do it for you. When you go to set up a phone line with them, it ask if you would like to keep your current phone number. Make sure that you DO NOT cancel your phone plan with your current provider before switching to fizz if you want to keep the same number

i meant for internet. apparently, they only do it for mobile service

I would suggest keeping your current internet provider for the time that you order, receive and set up your internet modem with fizz, this way if there are any delay, you will still have an internet connection with your previous provider.
Also don’t forget to use a code to save 40$ on our second bill (if you don’t already have a fizz phone plan)
