Activated my number but another question

Hi everyone
Just changed from another provider and everything works great. My wife is also on my plan at the old provider and I’ve ordered a card for her. Will my other plan still be active for me to port her old number as well?

    so long as you have not cancelled your plan at the old provider, you will be able to port your wife’s number.

    Porting one number does not cancel the plan if there are more than one number on the account.

    Hi it should. I have a coworker who ported from a plan from another provider with 3 numbers. the other number remains when he ports.

    Yes you can port her number as well as the plan is still active.

    And after successfully porting the second number, have an online chat with them to formally cancel your plan. They will mail you a cheque for what they owe you. Takes several weeks, but they will do it.

    Then they will start calling, trying to win you back 😂 When I outlined the Fizz plan and benefits, the caller gave up.

    yes the old account will be active after the porting too since you can still access the old information

    However, when you should consider to port your wife number to a different fizz account and use the referral of the first one, with fizz there is not advantage to get more mobile plans on the same account
