Guys, I wonder what is the best device to watch Fizz TV? Apple TV? Roku?

I have an iPhone, BTW.

Thank you

Make sure you check if the Fizz TV app is available for the device's platform before you purchase one.

Depends on what you are usually using.

It really depends on your preference right?

    Good morning,

Note that as @M T. #12340 Referenced in the link, Roku is not yet supported. Source:

As for which device, consider if you want to be portable, then a fire stick is easier. If you like the Apple experience, then the Apple TV is the way to go. More expensive tho.

    Cheers,

    Brad

    Fizz TV Compatibility

The app is available on Google Play, the App Store, Roku and Amazon Fire TV. It can also be downloaded directly onto a compatible smart TV. Good to know: Any device you use that is compatible with Fizz TV must have its region/location set to Canada.

Guys, thank you for referencing me Fizz articles; rest assured I read them all before buying a TV plan.

My question is about your personal experience.

I have 2 Nvidia Shields which are Android TV devices and they work really well. They are in the higher end of the market.

@BeakBird I was not able to sign in on my Nvidia Shield (2017) device. I authorize the device, but it does not refresh on Nvidia Shield. Google TV works fine. Which one of the Nvidia Shields do you have?

  • Supreme Geek 5/597🔥 Posts: 4,098 ✭✭

I have a 2017 Nvidia Shield and a 2019 Nvidia Shield (the cylindrical model).

Make sure you update the firmware. Go into settings and select check for upgrade.

Best way is to use your iPhone and stream the Fizz TV via Chromecast or Apple TV

A smart TV would probably be the best

I also think so. I haven't tried yet, but soon I will

KICKPI KP1 : Android TV Google certified, comes with Android TV 11 upgradable to Android TV12. It's not expensive ( around 70$ CDN) . Remote control experience is much closer to a remote control for TV (with voice command). You can also watch Netflix HD or 4K with this box.

Notes : this is Android TV OS not Android Mobile OS so the number of applications is limited. Also Fizz TV version is not the latest (2.1.39.149) ; it seems like Fizz is not developping fast enough on Android TV OS.
