Conditional Call forwarding

Just activated my sim and I am trying to get call forwarding when Busy/NA/un-answer set up to forward calls to my own voicemail number. I have my own voicemail server so I am not using the one provided by Fizz.

To be clear, I am not talking about the 'call forwarding universal' (i.e. the **21*). That one behaves completely different than the other conditional call forwarding.

I double checked that my phone supports VoLTE, and that during voice call it indeed stayed on LTE.

However none of the **61*/**62*/**67* code worked for me.

In the Fizz FAQ for call forwarding, it mentions that:

"If you have the voicemail option in your plan, it uses conditional call forwarding. In other words, if you don’t answer after several rings, the call is forwarded to your voicemail.

This type of call forwarding is programmed by default. To deactivate it, you must remove the voicemail option from your plan."

Does it mean that to change the conditional call forwarding numbers, you need to disable the voicemail option in the plan first?

Anyone else successfully used the *conditional* call forwarding can confirm whether you need to first disable the voicemail option?

    Hi @logic_gel

Is your phone certified VoLTE by Fizz?

Site faviconHow do I know if I can use my own phone with Fizz?

The call forward can be enabled only with a VoLTE phone certified by Fizz

    I never tried

Hi Elena, thanks. Sorry I wasn't clear. I want to know if anyone able to use the condition call forward *with the voicemail option enabled*, because the FAQ seems to imply it is not possible.

And yes I have confirmed VoLTE works, and by definition yes that I am on 4G/5G as VoLTE doesn't work on our 3G network.
