I don't use anywhere close to that, but 34$ for 40GB essentially makes data rollover and gifting irrelevant for me. I wish Fizz would follow with deals of their own.0

For most people 30-40-50 GB is pretty much unlimited. Even Fizz and their data giveaways and roll over pretty much makes it like unlimited data. Companies will have to start differentiating themselves with better prices/perks/benefits to earn our dollars. Heck - free cellular and data service is going to be a thing in the USA pretty soon (believe it’s called Ohana phone). Hopefully that comes up north one day!

The "deals" at Fizz aren't comprable to the other brands. Not the strongest BF deals ever.

I'm currently at 38$ 20GB(without my monthly 1$ perk rebate) for canada-wide, voicemail, unlimited text and minutes. I could jump on the 40$-40GB plan for 2$ more but I usually don't use anywhere close to my limit except in summer time while on vacations. That or the 25GB for 39$ which is 1$ more.
I'll probably stay on my 20GB plan and hope the 40GB gets a price drop in the future :) (other carriers now have more data for cheaper, I hope fizz will come out with something interesting for 2024 - I'd rather stay with fizz than switch carriers)

Just joined Fizz with the $40/40GB promo - never used more than 15GB in my life haha but for a dollar difference, goodbye the need to track my data usage! Plus, I can donate excess data to other members, or even to a good cause - what's not to love!0 -
I didn't end up using any of the Black Friday deals but they were indeed very nice. I just don't see myself ever needing 10Gb, let alone 30 or 40! I might have been tempted to go for something big like this, but the deals were announced shortly after I received all the perks from having a data plan on 1 November so I'm set for a few months at least. Still appreciate the value for money we're getting, one way or the other.
