Looks like you are good to go.

You can try to enter this code *#*#4636#*#* (don't change anything) and check for something like VoLTE Provisioned ON

Videotron states that the Motorola One 5G Ace is VoLTE compatible. Chatting with FIZZ on this subject brought no answers whatsoever. What makes a phone VoLTE compatible?

And Bell tells me the same thing (Moto One 5G Ace is compatible). Seems that if your phone connects automatically to the LTE network, it should be automatically VoLTE ready, at least for Android version 11 and up... I'll get the sim card, plug it up, if it doesn't work I'll regrettably leave FIZZ

If they add some of them, probably they will add the other too

    Thanks for the information.

After I posted this question on the forum, I chatted to Fizz support and they said that the list is being updated with more volte compatible phones. No ETA.

Afterwards, I ordered and received a volte sim from Fizz. I activated it and it works for my moto one 5g ace. I can see from the icon on the top right corner that the phone is connected to LTE+.

Does anyone know how I can check whether the phone is actually using volte?

Thanks, Andrei. I found the VoLTE Provisioned under Phone Info and this setting is turned OFF. It is also greyed out so I don't have the ability to turn it ON.

You need to have the LTE during the call

This means that your phone was not provisioned (therefore it doesn't have the configuration to use the VoLTE) and you cannot enable, since you need the configuration (like an email)

    Thanks for the interpretation.

Would it be Fizz or Motorola that provides the configuration file? Am I mistaken that the VoLTE sim card should provide the proper configuration?
