Wifi keeps shutting down twice per day

Hi,

For the past couple of weeks my wifi has been shutting down at least twice per day. I used to wake up in the morning and see the ! beside the wifi and would unplug/replug it which would fix it after 15 minutes. Then it started getting worse, even shutting down during the day while I'm working, during calls and even recently during an interview. .

How does someone resolve something like this? Could I please have someone assist me with this issue?

Thanks,

    Hi @Pascalino

Since you already try to turn off the modem

Did you try to restore to the factory setting

Restore your Wi-Fi modem to its factory settings

This will reset any changes that have been made to your Wi-Fi modem settings to date. You may also need to reconfigure your devices’ Wi-Fi settings (network name, password, etc.).

Using a small, sharp object, press the modem’s reset button for 10 seconds.

Once your modem has restarted, follow the same instructions you used when you initially installed it. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-install-my-wi-fi-modem

The default username (Default Wi-Fi network) and password (Default key) for your Wi-Fi network are written on a sticker on the back of your Wi-Fi modem.
