I wonder if there is a way to forward SMS to another number automatically, even if your phone is OFF, the same as call forwarding, Thanks

Short answer is "No". No native system resources may be used to automatically forward text messages. You need to use some 3rd party apps.

@Andrei_ref_R7VK1 I check a few app, and they all need your phone to be ON, and receive SMS, then they can forward it.

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to achieve. If you are going abroad then incoming SMS are always free.

In the meantime you can try some apps from this article (the phone should be ON)

Thanks @Andrei_ref_R7VK1, It seems that carriers cannot forward sms the same ways as calls, due to technical or other issues.

I don't think you can do it.. maybe with some specific apps...
