Hello, I am having issue with my cellphone network where I live (rural) but I got the internet optic fiber, I am looking for an app that would allow me to call VOIP for free obviously.

Any suggestion?

I don't think you will find a completely Free VoIP service. There's garbage like MagicJack and such. One step up would be FreePhoneLine.ca but it's not completely Free; there's an upfront cost and no customer support whatsoever.

Then there's VoIP.ms which is not expensive and offers customer support.

Fongo is free and works actually better than fizz. (Rural region)

    Hello,

There are a few VOIP apps that you can use to make free calls over the internet. Some popular options include WhatsApp, Skype, and Viber. These apps use your internet connection to make calls, so as long as you have a good internet connection, you should be able to use them without any issues.

You may also want to check out some other apps like Telegram, Signal, or even Google Duo which also offer free voice calls over the internet.

Please keep in mind that while these apps may be free to use, they may still consume data from your internet plan. Be sure to check with your internet service provider to see if they offer unlimited data or if there are any extra charges for using these apps.

    Hope this helps!

Anyone knows some good VOIP applications (except Skype) where I can setup my cell number as the caller ID?

Il existe de nombreuses applications de VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) qui permettent d’appeler gratuitement ou à un coût réduit en utilisant une connexion Internet. Voici quelques exemples populaires :

    I like

    1) Textnow

    2) Fongo

    3) Google Voice with Obi200, this is the best but this is hard to make it to work in Canada and you get only US phone number.

I believe WhatsApp would work but all the other network carriers offer VoIP for free, if it's important to you. Fizz needs to step up quick.
