Ok, thank you very much. With the new changes to the plan (ie limited to LTE) will I be able to call when I am in the United states?

Non at the moment you cannot, since the 3G is shutted down, some users reported that in some zone the 2G is available and they will be able to make calls, but they are rare.

I don't think that is working. You can receive calls but not calling I think

As long as you have a 2G GSM network connection in Florida, you can call to the USA or Canada, and also receive calls from both . All this is free with your Canada + USA plan.

T-Mobile has not yet announced an end date yet for 2G GSM. However service is not available everywhere.

always remember to play with network type. you can switch manually from 4g to 3G and even 2G. This summer I used the 2G network to make calls in Vermont for example. Just check .....

This the information I have about T-Mobile. But T-Mobile has not confirmed anything about extending the January 1 2023 deadline.
