I want to send a gift to a number which have Data already.. How can I do that?
When I place the request, it says this number does not have a data package. Why is that? What is the definition of data package?

You can send a data gift to:
- Any Fizz customer who is findable in Contacts and has a data plan
- A complete stranger, as long as they are findable and have a Fizz data plan
You cannot send a data gift to:
- People who are not Fizz members
- Fizz members with no data plan
- Fizz members who have designated themselves incognito
*Buying an Add-on or applying a perk or an upgrade allow you to add extra data to your plan, but that won’t give you the ability to gift or receive data. To gift or receive data, your plan must include data from the get-go.

Hi,
if you have unused data in your account, you can gift it to any member who is findable in the Fizz community (in other words, anyone who is not in Incognito mode), and whose plan includes data.
You can choose to randomly gift data any time. Or, you can wait until it’s almost the end of your payment cycle and gift data before it rolls over. Learn about Rollovers
If you want to gift unused data at the end of your payment cycle, you can gift it right before your current payment cycle ends. Once this cycle is over, however, the data will roll over — it will no longer be available to send as a gift.
You cannot take back or unsend a data gift. Once you click Send, your gifted data is permanently removed from your plan.
How do I gift data to another Member?
To send a gift:
- Go to My Plans in your Fizz account.
- Scroll to the plan (if you have more than one in your account) that you want to gift from.
- Click Gift.
- On the next screen, choose Start gifting.
- Choose a contact or search for a new Fizz member who you want to gift to. This will open the gifting tool. *
- Select the amount of data you wish to gift and click Next.
- Customize a message to the recipient and click Send.
* If you choose an email from your contacts list, data will be gifted to the default plan associated with that email address (there may be multiple phone numbers on this plan). If, however, you choose to gift data to a specific phone number, the data will be gifted to the exact plan associated with this phone number.

If this member have a plan wich contains data and you're still unable and would like to directly contact Fizz’s customer service team to possibly resolve this issue, here's how you can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.
If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

Basically it says the person has a plan that doesn't onclude data (a call only plan maybe sms too).
Fizz does not allow these plans to receive data gifts. They may receive data perks though.
If the person has indeed a plan that includes data you should chat with fizz.
