CB card refused

Hello, I can’t pay for an internet subscription with my CB card. When I enter the numbers of my CB card and check, it says that my CB card couldn't have been checked (I am French and I try to pay with my French card knowing that the international option is active)

    Hi Adele

    From this guide https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-payment-methods-can-i-use

To pay for your Fizz plans, you can use:

    • A Visa or Mastercard credit card
    • A prepaid Visa or Mastercard credit cards such as Vanilla prepaid cards

    • A debit card
    • A foreign credit/debit card

Hello, I am not familiar with a CB card but if this is a credit card from a foreign bank, Fizz may not accept it either because it is a foreign card, or pre-paid. I suggest you contact Fizz to discuss options they may/may not offer or obtain a Canadian credit card or bank account to make payment arrangements.

To contact Fizz Customer Service I suggest using the Contact Form in My Settings or you may choose the Chat feature but the first option is the better as this is not a simple matter to resolve.

The most important part is also the address

    --------------

IMPORTANT - Address associated to the Credit Card

When you enter the information for your payment method, the billing address associated to your card must correspond to the address you declared to your bank for that card. The right info must be entered in the corresponding fields, and the address needs to be 100% identical. Pay attention to the following items:

    • The name of the street (Ave, avenue)
    • Special works (Saint, St, Ste)
    • Hyphens
    • Spaces
    • Spelling

Tip: Make a copy and paste of what is written in your credit card statement.

If the address and postal code that you associate to your payment method are not identical to that declared to your bank for that card, you won’t be able to add this payment method.

It can't work because you are using a French credit card. You must use a Canadian credit card. Prepaid credit cards that are sold in almost every convenience store/supermarket can be used.

If you cannot get a regular Canadian credit card, you can maybe look for alternatives.

There are prepaid cards that you can top up via Interac. Stack or KOHO are the ones I know. You can also get a secured credit card. the bank will take $500 from your account and give you a credit card that has a limit of $500. Koho and Stack can be much faster as they give you a virtual card as well.
