Keeping landline number to cellphone with fizz?

Asking for my mother. She have a landline number with videotron in quebec city and we would like to give her a smartphone. Is. It possible to transfer her landline number to fizz if so how? All info i find is from smart phone to smart phone.

Many other telecom companies offer this service but sadly not Fizz. I would transfer to another company and some time after transfer to Fizz. That, for some reason, works without a problem

Hi Dax,

No it's not possible whit Fizz but she can do it whit Videotron and transfert her number after that.

Some prepaid companies like Freedom Mobile offer porting from landline numbers, but transfer may take up to a week. Then you could transfer the number from Freedom Mobile to Fizz.
